Details
Garnet color, excellent color vibrancy and excellent texture. Aromas of violets with hints of cherry, red berries and a spicy note of black pepper, good flavor and minerality. In the mouth it has a good acidity, tannins that are not aggressive but decisive and of excellent persistence, in full respect of the typicality of the territory.
Definitely a good year for flavors, colors and aromas. Not too harsh winter with abundant rainfall. Warm spring with regular rains. The hot summer with little rainfall led to excellent ripening of the grapes.
the grapes harvested manually in late September / early October were quickly transferred to the cellar for the soft pressing. Alcoholic fermentation by selected yeasts at a temperature of 28 ° C. Maceration on the skins lasts about 20-25 days with 2 pumpovers per day.
